Post-graduate diploma in Industrial Geography and PhD in Social Studies. Career spent with leading companies in the chemical and mining industry, finance and educaiton, holding positions of dean in a World Bank project in Afghanistan and Program Director in a Swiss university institute.
My interests are eclectic and cover geographically the CIS (including the Arctic) and Latin America (Brazil in particular where I spent my youth; demography and the consequences of an aging society; natural resources, in particular energy; and post-humanity.
Visiting faculty in a variety of institutions (an IT engineering school in France, Universities in several European countries, and hospitality and tourism schools in Switzerland). The topics covered include scenario planning, geostrategy, industrial marketing, international business, the globalization process.
Writing of a gret number of articles over the last 10 years.
